> Mud! Hope you embraced the challenge and got is washed off for homecoming!
> Big fields make is hard to dial in pace and place. 400 girls in the JV race!
> Heat+Humidity+poor race morning hydration+nutrition = puke feelings.
> Water+white bagel = pre race combo that works for many.
> Crazy that some of you ran PRs in the mud. Cool! You will run faster next race. Promise.
> Look at mile 1 split versus average pace. About :10 fast mile 1 is often optimal for many.
> If your average is less than :10 slower than mile 1, speed up! Take a risk!
> if your average is more than :15 slower than mile 1, you might need to dial it back some early.
