Funky stuff at the end of fall break.
Course was short.
Weather was good early. Not so much for JV
We looked unprepared. That is on the coaches
PRE FALL BREAK WORKOUT
3 miles at a pace faster than you have raced all year.
Trying really hard at the end of workouts translates to races.
6 people ran their all time fastest 1600M efforts.
Most showed significant improvement vs same WO in '22.
MILTON INVITE
This race humbles and teaches life lessons.
Experience on a tough course is invaluable.
If you ran great, congrats. If you didn't? Learn, pivot.
No guys JV perfect score but a W. Sena gets his first W.

JULY RECAP - DOG LOOP TEMPO
We have reached 2 check points along our 2023 team journey. 1st 6 weeks of training is complete. We hope you have learned some key things about running, are getting to know your teammates and are feeling healthy and motivated to be your best self.
Dog Loop tempo isn't a race, but a timed effort we have done for 11 years that gives the coaches valuable information about where each athlete is in their running progression.
Good to see most of you stayed in good shape during GHSA dead week as reflected in your tempo #2 results.

TEAM TIME TRIAL
This was our dress rehersal so WE are prepared to go racing next WEek with the confidence to arrive at the starting line relaxed, confident and ready to show off our hard work this summer.
Great job by our captains on getting everyone to the starting line on time and following our pre race plan. The plan works!
The goal was to run under control the first mile and run faster the second mile. This is AGAIN, preparation for next WEek. WE will be running 5K so it is important to run mile 1 under control. Smart early BRAVE late. This is the way.
